As Senior Vice President, Advisor Services. Michael supports the Business Development Team in promoting Investment Planning Counsel's (IPC) partnership with advisors. Michael also plays an important role in supporting IPC’s business coaching programs, guiding advisors in implementing effective strategies to improve their long-term business potential.
Michael has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years. He spent over 10 years with the Canadian arm of one of the world’s largest providers of financial services as a District Vice President, supporting over 2000 financial advisors throughout Central, Northern and Western Ontario. He was subsequently Vice President Sales, Dealer Distribution with a leading provider of financial and retirement planning services, where he launched its advisor distribution strategy, helping to grow its assets from $250 million to over $4 billion in 14 months. He was most recently Vice President, Sales with a Canadian Chartered Bank, where he supported the Bank’s business, sales and marketing strategies.
Michael is a graduate of York University with a B.A. in Administration Studies. He holds the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation.
